Nitro gears are manufactured from 8620 steel gear forgings in the same manufacturing facilities as GM, Dodge, Ford and Toyota. They are precision machined using computer controlled processes, heat treated, CNC triple-lapped and Rockwell tested for hardness. These extra steps ensure excellent fitment, ideal contact pattern and smooth, quiet operation.

Tech Note:
- 1999 and Newer models can use the 10.25 inch ring and pinion as a replacement
- When replacing a 10.5 inch gear set with a 10.25 inch, you must utilize the 10.25 inner pinion bearing, recommend MKF10.25
